Apple Pie Smoothie
Ever since I bought my blender I've been making smoothies everyday for breakfast. I typically stick to a slight variations of the same smoothie. It makes it quick and simple in the morning. But now that it's well into fall and I live a mile away from an apple farm I figured I'd vamp up a recipe that I've seen. I bring you my Apple Pie Smoothie!
This is refined sugar free, dairy free, gluten free and tastes great!

Ingredients:
1 apple (I chose golden delicious)
1 red anjou pear
1 handful of almonds (about 12)
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Tools:
Blender or smoothie maker
Place all ingredients in the blender, make sure the almonds are placed closest to the blades so that they blend well.
Enjoy
